Why is it that few company owners think about retirement like that?
Employer's contribution to saving for old age as a tax-deductible cost also for company owners.
Do you use your company's employer's contribution to saving for an old age that is fully tax deductible?
When I ask the owners of the company with whom I work, the answers are often similar, either they've never heard of it, or they think it's something about employees, not themselves.
And right here, I think, is where a fundamental error in thinking arises.
The owner of the company very often solves all kinds of cash flow, contracts, people, responsibility, pressure. But his own long-term security is being pushed aside. Not because he doesn't want to. But because he has to feel that there is still time.
Two companies, one man, one strategy
I own two companies. Which is why I don't look at personal finances apart from the corporate ones.
I realize one crucial thing if companies thrive, it's an ideal time to create certainty beyond them.
Not until one, not sometimes in the future, but continuously and systemically.
Each of my companies contributes CZK 4,166 per month to saving for my old age. In sum, this means CZK 8,332 per month per person.
From the company's point of view, it's tax deductible. From my point of view, as a natural person, it's money from which no tax is paid, nor social and health insurance, nor from the employer's position, nor from the employee's position.
The result?
In each company, I will reduce the economic result by about 100,000 crowns a year. Instead of leaving this money in the form of taxes and levies, they work for me and my family in the long term.
This is not an optimization on the edge of the law. This is the use of tools that the system allows and supports directly.
The power of time and calm approach
The most important thing now.
With a monthly contribution of 8 332 crowns, a horizon of 30 years and a very conservative evaluation of 6 percent per year, the resulting amount is approximately 8,4 million crowns per person.
I emphasize it on an approved basis, a conservative approach, without speculation, without the pursuit of revenue.
With such capital, a 6 % return is about half a million crowns a year. Approximately 42 thousand crowns a month.
And that is without any dependence on the state pension, only from your own resources, only because money works systematically and for the long term.
Why does a small percentage of businessmen think like that?
Most corporate owners think about retirement in one of two ways.
Either you don't care about him at all, or he's counting on him to sell the company someday.
But selling the company isn't a plan. It's a possibility.
The value of the company may change. Timing may not come out. Health can decide another way.
That is why I consider it essential to separate long-term personal security from future scenarios.
I'm honestly saying that only a small percentage of the company's owners think that way today, and often not because they don't want to, but because no one ever explained it to them in context.
Can you prepare for retirement without a state?
Yes, ma'am. But it requires a change of mind.
To stop seeing the company as just a source of current income. To start seeing it as a tool for building long-term stability.
And stop delaying decisions that look distant today, but in time, they make the biggest difference.
Conclusion
Not every owner of the company wants to deal with retirement, but everyone should want peace.
The calm is that once he decides to slow down, he won't be dependent on the state, chance, or one great exile.
If you're the owner of the company and you want to look at it specifically in your case after the new year, we'll sit down at the joint coffee.
Without selling a particular solution, without pressure, just how to strategically think about the money you're making today.
